Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Metricora ("Metricora," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Metricora mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create a Metricora account, we collect your email address and password (stored securely via Firebase Authentication — we never see or store your plaintext password), and any display name you provide. If you sign in with Google, Apple, or Facebook instead, we receive the basic profile information those providers share with us to create your account.

Onboarding profile. During setup we ask which social platforms you use, your role (e.g. creator, agency, brand marketer), and your goals. This is self-reported and used only to tailor your experience.

Connected platform accounts. When you connect a social media account (currently Instagram, with more platforms planned) via that platform's official login, we store:

Access tokens are stored only on our secure backend infrastructure and are never transmitted to or readable by the Metricora app itself. You can disconnect a platform at any time, which immediately and permanently deletes its stored token.

Analytics data. For each connected account, we fetch and store data such as post reach and impressions, likes, comments, shares, saves, video view counts, follower counts over time, and — where the platform provides it — audience demographic breakdowns (e.g. gender or country). This data is fetched directly from the platform's official API and is limited to the account you connected.

2. How We Use Information

We do not use your data to serve ads, and we do not sell personal information.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following services to operate Metricora. Each processes a limited slice of your data strictly to perform its function for us:

These providers have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data on their platforms. Connecting a social account is also subject to that platform's own terms and privacy policy.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure via Firebase. Access tokens and other sensitive records are restricted to our backend and are never exposed to any client, including the Metricora app itself. All connections to our services use HTTPS/TLS encryption.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your account and analytics data for as long as your account is active. Disconnecting a platform deletes that platform's stored token and connection record immediately. To delete your entire account and associated data, email us at support@metricora.social and we will process your request within a reasonable time.

6. Your Rights & Choices

You can disconnect any connected platform account at any time from within the app. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data — to exercise any of these, contact us at the email below.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above, and continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
